How plant-based alternatives are changing the world for the best.

Veganism has been making significant strides in recent years, contributing to a more sustainable and health-conscious world, we all know it and we see it.

The increase in the number of people adopting a plant-based lifestyle is evident, now more than ever.

In 2023, Germany led the world in searches about veganism, followed by Austria and the UK, indicating a growing interest in plant-based diets

A global survey conducted in 2021 found that 81% of consumers had tried plant-based milk, 48% had tried other dairy alternatives, 44% had tried plant-based meat alternatives, and 25% had tried a plant-based egg replacement, further highlighting the growing popularity of plant-based products.

The rise of veganism has been driven by various factors, including health concerns, climate change, and animal welfare activism. A study from the University of Oxford found that if the world went vegan, it could save 8 million human lives per year by 2050, reduce greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture by two-thirds, and lead to healthcare-related savings and avoid climate damages of $1.5 trillion. Moreover, a plant-based diet significantly reduces environmental damage, leading to 75% fewer climate-heating emissions, water pollution, and land use compared to diets with more than 100g of meat daily.

In conclusion, plant-based choices brought about positive changes in the world, contributing to a more sustainable, health-conscious, and compassionate society. By reducing the environmental impact of agriculture, promoting healthier diets, and advocating for animal welfare, veganism has made significant strides in creating a better world for all.
